Looking around town tonight, I saw quite a lot of things that I thought fit well for this assignment!
Color: I thought this skirt was a good example of bright colors that pop due to the black background.
Typography: This sign had some attractive font that evokes some animalistic qualities.
Metaphors/symbols: Some might interpret this graffiti on an old weathered mailbox as a relic of the past.
Minimalism & use of space: The tiling and absence of color in this hallway brings some of this building’s unique qualities to life.
Form/function/message: This is a poor choice of form for the symbol, and it makes the store look like they sell clothes or do laundry.
Balance: This home shows the importance of proportion; although the number of windows is uneven, they are centered above the awning.
Rhythm: This wall built from bottles has a rhythm with its different sized and unique containers.
Dominance: The tower of this church has dominion and is recognizable in town from many areas.
Unity: The individual letters have unique designs that form our little town’s name!
